Innovation, quality and simplicity have always been the characteristics that distinguish Colorstore software solutions.

A single modular software solution, able to satisfy any type of need in the production field: from the simple creation of ICC color profiles to the complete print flow management.

Whatever the need, ColorSuite 7i is the right solution for you.

Printing RIP

RIP Post Script Level 3, for commercial and industrial printers management, up to 8 process colors.

It is the new version of multi-platform Rip (Win-Mac OS), based on Client-Server architecture, designed to meet the needs in a wide range areas of digital printing.

  • Supported files: TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PS, EPS, PDF 1.6, Multipage PDF, PSD, PSB
  • Output files: Continuous Tone, Binary, Grayscale with proprietary screening algorithms.
  • Special color management: Print management of 4 special colors in addition to the process colors, including white, metallic, transparent, materials, etc.
  • Integrated CMS with proprietary Color Engine for the management of input, output and simulation ICC profiles.
  • Color correction with preview through output curves, output colors adjustment.
  • Print cost management and consumption calculation (BIN-GS only)
  • Driver Manager to create a printer driver for any type of industrial printer
  • Detailed report with database of all the prints / processes, with the possibility to reload any job
  • Hot Folder with a configurable automatic flow, to automate the printing processes.

Linearization / Ink Saving

Thanks to the powerful linearization module inside some versions of ColorSuite 7i, is possible to manage easily the tonal reproduction of each color, and also to optimize the quantity of ink used.

Usually in printing systems, the quantity of ink used is higher than that really necessary, compromising the final quality, considerably increasing production costs, and causing numerous problems related to printability.

With ColorSuite 7i in a few steps, you can improve the print quality and stability in tonal reproduction.

Furthermore, through the ink optimization, it is possible to obtain a significant ink saving, and reduce the environmental emissions.

The linearizations created with ColorSuite 7i do not replace the linearizations already present on the production machines, but integrate by operating in perfect synchrony.

Repro Unit

The Repro Unit module represents the ideal solution for reproductions of existing products, for format / line changes and for ink changes, avoiding all the intermediate tests for tone adjustment, necessary in a traditional production flow.

This new and innovative module has been specially developed to align, in terms of color reproduction, either a single printer normally subject to chromatic variations, or the various printers present in the production flow, significantly reducing the time and costs for starting a production, increasing  the productivity.

Starting from the reading file .txt of a chart that identifies the original production condition, and from a reading file .txt of a chart that identifies the current condition, the software automatically creates the correct compensation to be applied to the original graphic files, adapting them to the characteristics of the new printing condition.

Printer Diagnostic

Thanks to this module, it is possible to evaluate any colorimetric differences between the different printers, or to evaluate the stability level of a single printer over time.

It is also possible to perform a global diagnosis, or a selective diagnosis of a single graphic file, to understand its reproducibility degree.

Color Proof

The color proof module is the best choice for the development of new products, and for reproduction of existing products, with endless possibilities in terms of creativity.

With ColorSuite 7i and a normal inkjet proofing printer, you can print on paper and in real time, the product you intend to create by simulating the inks and the color of the substrate, used during the production phase.

Color fidelity is ensured by the integrated certification module.

Color proof is available for both CMYK and Multichannel modes.

RGB-CMYK ICC Profiles

ColorSuite 7i has a proprietary Color Engine for creation of RGB and CMYK ICC v.4 color profiles.

The different algorithms within the Color Engine, allow the creation of high quality color profiles, even with inks with limited saturation and critical spectral readings.

Thanks to an automated procedure, the creation of ICC color profiles is extremely simple and intuitive, even for users with a limited level of experience.

An "Advanced" mode is also available, for a total control in color profile creation.

The generated ICC color profiles, are fully compatible with the main graphic applications (eg Adobe Photoshop®), and with the RIPs with an integrated CMS based on the ICC standard.

This feature also guarantees all the functions for conversion, monitor print preview (soft-proofing), or for a possible paper color proof (hard-proofing).

There are several proprietary RGB and CMYK models, for the creation of customized color charts; from a small number of patches (about 100) up to over 1500, to satisfy any need.

The integrated Color Engine is able to optimize the color profiles created through the use of color charts with a limited number of patches, always guaranteeing the highest color accuracy, even in the presence of small or problematic color spaces.

Multichannel ICC Profiles

Color management for Multicolor type printing systems is one of the main strengths of ColorSuite 7i, and the integrated multi-channel profiler allows the creation of ICC profiles up to a maximum of 8 colors.

As well as for RGB-CMYK profiles, also the Color Engine N-Color provides for the use of different algorithms to allow the creation of Multichannel ICC color profiles, also in critical situations in terms of color saturation and where the color space is extremely limited.

One of the advantages offered by ColorSuite 7i is the possibility to create ICC Multichannel profiles, with any color configuration; with and without black, and also without a basic CMYK scheme (Extended CMYK).

The Multichannel profiling module, is suitable for several printing sectors such as: flexo, wood, ceramic, leather, textile, etc.

Another fundamental advantage concerns the preview on the monitor or on paper of the files, thanks to innovative functions and tools for color control in Multichannel mode.

Multichannel Editor

Multichannel Editor is the ColorSuite 7i's tool for an accurate color simulation on monitor, of multichannel graphic files, with the related correction of each single channel, through the Curves tool.

In addition to the color simulation on monitor, the color of the substrate can also be simulated.

W.P.O.

With ColorSuite7i it is possible to convert graphic files directly through the W.P.O. (White Point Optimizer), instead from normal graphic applications or RIPs.

The W.P.O. in fact, through some particular conversion parameters, it guarantees a level of contrast and detail, otherwise not obtainable through a file conversion made by a generic graphic application.
